Our mission is to blend the rich heritage of Moroccan craftsmanship with contemporary luxury, creating exquisite handmade wood, brass, and zellige pieces that enhance and transform any space. Art Maze was born from a love for Moroccan crafts, rooted in the vibrant heritage of Andalusian artistry. For five generations, our family has kept the art of zellige alive, blending authenticity, tradition, and skill.
Our story begins with our patriarch, Abdelhaq Benlemlih, a master artisan who, from 1952 to 1985, carried forward the legacy of his father and grandfather. His work adorned prestigious projects such as the Royal Palace of Morocco and the iconic Hassan II Mosque, earning widespread acclaim for his exceptional craftsmanship.
Abdelhaq’s sons kept his flame alive, turning our family’s craft into a global symbol of Moroccan artistry. Their beautiful work enhanced spaces like the Royal Palace of Kazakhstan, Sofitel, Four Seasons, and DisneyLand Merquesia, capturing hearts worldwide.
Today, three visionary graduates from our family are leading Art Maze into a new era. With offices in the UAE and the USA, we honor our ancestors’ craft, preserving the art of zellige while sharing its timeless beauty with the world.
